Requirements / Utensils.

  • Coconuts (your own amount )
  • A  Freezer
  • A Big Container with Lid
  • A Grater
  • A Sieve
  • A Knife.


  1. Break the coconut into small pieces.
  2. Use the knife to collect the meat inside the coconut.
  3. Grate the coconut into very tiny pieces
  4. Pour grated coconut into a big basin.
  5. Add some water into the basin and scrub hard.
  6. Sieve out the water into the container
  7. You can try adding water over and over again  but remember not too much water.
  8. You can stop at the third or fourth round of adding water and scrubbing.
  9. When the container is filled close and put in the freezer for 24 hours /12 hours to freeze at the top.
  10. Kindly scoop out the upper layer and put to boil with low heat.
  11. When boiled u will see the clear oil boiling
  12. You can scoop it out into a metal bowl and allow to cool.
  13. And later transfer into bottle for safe keeping.
